Below is an example of a poor daily profile. The profile displays the amount of energy used each half hour of the day and this profile shows very little difference between open & closed times (indicated by the red target line). The potential yearly saving is a calculation of energy used over target for a year; this enables customers to understand the difference that can be made in a monetary value.
